What People Are Saying
Great school!! [I] was a student here from Jan. 2019–June 2021, and loved everything about it. Teachers are respectful, honest, caring; they want you to learn and have a good time. Students are the same way. No bullying or harassment went on. I wanted to be here. This school made me a better person; it improved who I am.
Garrett, CASC alum
My family was worried about the transition from elementary school to middle school, so I started CASC in 6th grade. We loved it so much I continued with it all the way through high school. The flexibility made it easy for schoolwork to fit my schedule and helped me meet deadlines. In high school, I was able to take dual enrollment courses, which allowed me to get credit for a lot of freshman classes in college!
Daniel, CASC alum
I’ve been at CASC for 10 years! Before coming to CASC, I was in a brick-and-mortar school, and I felt like I wasn’t truly learning the material or getting support from my teachers. It takes a little extra time for me to learn because of my dyslexia, but the teachers at CASC took their time while teaching me and really supported me in a way that allowed me to succeed.
Lee, CASC 12th grade student
Lee was in 3rd grade when we switched to CASC because we realized he was not at the proper reading level. Through a lot of support from the school, Lee is now on the honor roll! CASC helped him be successful in his schoolwork.

I think CASC was better than brick-and-mortar because you can get more courses done in a semester. You can also talk one-on-one with a teacher if you are having a problem and they will give you the help you need.
Emily, CASC alum
At first, I wasn’t sure about CASC. But through the school year, she grew and became confident in engaging with her teachers and classmates!

I tried many schools before CASC, but they weren’t challenging enough. I needed something a little more rigorous. CASC challenged me and provided me with teachers who helped and supported me at a rate I needed. CASC has amazing teachers and administration that helped me find my path. I met so many friends through different clubs and lunches offered through CASC!
Ainsley, CASC student
From a young age, we noticed that Ainsley was extremely smart. She learned things at such a fast pace. At her traditional brick-and-mortar school, they couldn’t offer her any extra things to keep her mind growing, so we took her out. We eventually found CASC. They were willing to work with us and help keep Ainsley challenged with rigorous courses and activities. The curriculum allowed her to progress at her own rate.

I have been a student at Cyber Academy since middle school, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The teachers have always been friendly, and since I was placed in the honors program, the courses were pretty challenging. Sometimes, it can become overwhelming, but … the teachers I had were able to help me get through it. The clubs … made my experience truly enjoyable at the school. I highly recommend Cyber Academy to anyone who needs a more flexible school schedule but still wants to challenge themselves for the future.

My overall experience at … Cyber Academy of South Carolina has surpassed my expectations. I came to this school in the middle of my 8th grade year due to my health. Everyone understood my situation and made me feel welcome. It was overwhelming at first until I learned how things were done. Every teacher I have had thus far has pushed me to be the best me and never to give up on myself. Every teacher, advisor, and guidance counselor is easy to reach, and the response time is within minutes to a couple of hours. The workload is rigorous, but it is set up for you not to fail. I have learned to be independent and accountable for my schoolwork.

My son and I love Cyber Academy of South Carolina. We have been here four years [and are still] going strong. I love the teacher and the principal. They are all so loving and caring for the children. They get a big five stars! I thank God for a good, loving school and the best school online. My son and I will be here again and again until he graduates [from] the 12th grade.

I have been enrolled in brick-and-mortar schools before, and nothing compares to CASC. All the teachers are held to high standards. They are very helpful and encouraging. … Even though it is a virtual school, there are many opportunities to join clubs, activities, and groups to socialize with other students. There are even some events that are in-person.

Cyber Academy of South Carolina has amazing teachers [who] will cater to your educational needs. While I was in that school, I thought I would do horribly and pass under the radar, but instead, I succeeded, and now I’m a college freshman ready for the next chapter of my life. I’m able to do this because of Cyber Academy.

My daughter started CASC [in] 3rd grade, and she cannot wait for 4th grade. The teachers are amazing and so kind.
